Terms & Booking Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These conditions, along with any other information given to you at the time of booking, set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and Criteria Wine & Travel, part of the Criteria Group (Grupo Criteria S.L. CIF: B26249698)

BOOKING & PAYMENT

Payment has to be made to GRUPO CRITERIA S.L. by:

  • Credit and Debit Card
  • Bank Transfer to GRUPO CRITERIA SL., which details will be provided in the invoice.

A booking with Criteria Wine & Travel is confirmed when payment of a deposit has been made and received by Criteria Wine & Travel.  Payment of deposit will be requested based on the conditions that apply to the type of service:

  • Deposit: We require a non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation. Depending on the characteristics of the service booked we request from 15% deposit up to full payment at the time of reservation.
  • Final Payment of Balance: Full payment is due within 10 to 30 days of the date the activity begins, depending the characteristics of the service booked. If the activity date is less than 20 days away, full payment is required upon booking confirmation.
  • Cancellation Terms: Cancellations must be made in writing to Grupo Criteria S.L. either by email to eno@gcriteria.com o post to Calado Calle Mercaderes 10, Esquina Ruavieja; 26001 Logroño, Spain.
  • More than 10 to 30 days before the tour starts full refund minus deposit.
  • Less than 10 to 30 days before the tour starts, cancellation charge is 100% of the tour cost.
  • The exact time due for full payment and cancellation depend on the specific tour and it will be stated in each individual tour conditions

ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS.

Any payment to Criteria Wine & Travel constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

PRICE MODIFICATIONS

We recommend checking the price of the service at the time of booking to ensure there is no mistake. In case of any mistake in the price provided, we reserve the right to correct it and claim or reimburse any amount.

Criteria Wine & Travel reserves the right to change prices in case of important changes in prices or in the taxes that apply for the services contracted and which would impact the cost of the services contracted by Criteria Wine & Travel. In case the price increases more than 5% due to changes described in this paragraph, there is a right to cancel the services and no cancellation fee would apply. Cancellation needs to be confirmed at least 5 days after having been communicated this change in price by Criteria Wine & Travel.

LIABILITY

Criteria Wine & Travel accepts its responsibility to fulfil all the elements of the services booked to the highest standard and with reasonable skill and care. Criteria Wine & Travel does not accept responsibility for failure to enjoy the services, where it is due to anything other than Criteria Wine & Travel ´s breach of contract. All the services we provide will be subject to the local laws of Spain.

FORCE MAJEURE

Compensation will not be payable and no liability can be accepted by Criteria Wine & Travel in case we are forced to make an important change or cancel the services to be provided as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of Criteria Wine & Travel. These can include war, riots, terrorist activity, natural disasters.

MAJOR CHANGES IN THE SERVICES

In the unlikely case that Criteria Wine & Travel cannot provide part of the services contracted, we will provide a pro-rata refund of the cost of the services contracted.

TRIP INSURANCE

Travel insurance is not included in the services provide by Criteria Wine & Travel. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND contracting Travel insurance prior to the start of your travels, including not only medical expenses but also Trip Cancellation insurance and other travel related losses.

EMERGENCY

We recommend you provide Criteria Wine & Travel with contact details of relatives or friends that should be contacted in an emergency. Please note that all costs incurred by us in providing any assistance in the event of an emergency including but not limited to payment for any transport must be reimbursed to us.

BEHAVIOUR

Service users will behave without creating disruption the enjoyment of others or creating prejudice to the reputation of Criteria Wine & Travel. We will terminate the service provided in case of breaches of this clause and no refunds will be made or cost be paid as a result of the termination of the services.

Users are also liable for all damage and losses caused your actions or those of any member of your party at any of the establishments.

LUGGAGE & PERSONAL BELONGINGS

These remain at all times your own responsibility.

DATA PROTECTION

We are fully compliant with all data protection legislation. In order to process the reservations of the services contracted, Criteria Wine & Travel needs to collect personal data, which may include sensitive personal data such as information relating to any disability, medical condition or dietary restrictions.

Criteria Wine & Travel may also store data to inform about promotions, products and activities which may be of interest. The user has the right to request not to receive such information.

We do not store during the booking process any credit card information since this information is processed automatically by our payment providers.
